Interview with Wu-Tang Clan: Talks about Of Mics and Men Documentary and Lifelong Brotherhood

Going backstage I felt disappointed that I wasn’t able to see the show, but I thought it was more important to try and meet the members. When the show was over, there was only one word to describe the scene: chaotic.

There were several golf carts on the grass waiting to escort the members back to their trailer. There was a large crowd behind a makeshift barrier, waiting to meet, greet or get a glimpse of the group. Security guards were at the exit ramp, waiting to get the group through the crowd to the golf carts.

I quickly figured out that my best way to get to the group was to stand by the golf carts and not the crowd. It was a good idea on my part and got a little closer to meeting the group.

The first person I saw was RZA, I tried to get closer to ask him some questions and his security pushed me back.  I tried to ask him some questions from a distance and he threw up two fingers to me. Finally, I asked him to shout out Black Truth News and he didn’t say anything.

Starting my Wu-Tang shot chart: I’m 0-1and no Method Man.

Stepping away defeated, but still determined; I see Inspectah Deck riding pass on a cart. I don’t think deck stopped and talked to anyone. That’s 0-2 and still no Method Man.
