A judge tossed out a lawsuit against Jerry Seinfeld over the genesis of his Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee show. U.S District Court Judge Alison Nathan ruled that the plaintiff Christian Charles took too long to file his lawsuit, therefore he dismissed his case. Charles claims that he gave Seinfeld the idea in 2002 and he took it without giving him credit. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee debuted in 2012 on Crackle and is now distributed on Netflix.
