Jordyn Woods Says Her World Came ‘Crumbling Down’ After the Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal

“Looking at the situation, ‘Okay what did I do, what role did I play in this, how was I responsible, how can I be held accountable, how can I take responsibility for what happened?’ Things happen and that’s what makes us human,” Woods continued. “But just acceptance and accountability and responsibility. I feel like people in this generation lack accountability, and when you can’t accept what you’ve done or you can’t accept that, then you can’t heal from.”

Woods seems to view the entire ordeal as a pivotal moment for personal growth. “When your whole world feels like it’s crumbling down, everything you thought you knew, it’s really to be rebuilt again but much stronger,” she said. “The amount of strength I’ve gained in this year alone, nothing else could have shaped me to the person I am today.”

Over one year later, Jordyn Woods reflected on the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal and how it shaped her as a person.

In February 2019, the model was at the center of a Kardashian controversy after it was alleged she was spotted getting cozy with Khloé Kardashian’s boyfriend at a party. Woods later confirmed during an emotional appearance on Red Table Talk that Thompson did kiss her on the lips.

In a new tell-all interview posted on September 26, Woods discussed everything from dealing with public shame to pushing people away because she “couldn’t trust anyone” in a new episode of the YouTube series Now With Natalie. During the 30-minute conversation, she recalled feeling like the whole world was “crumbling down” on her.- ADVERTISEMENT -https://s.yimg.com/rq/darla/4-4-0/html/r-sf-flx.html

“I deleted everything off of my phone. I wouldn’t respond to anyone. I responded to about two people,” she told host and friend Natalie Manuel Lee, per People. “I pushed people away that probably shouldn’t have been pushed away, but I just couldn’t trust anyone. Everything in my life changed.”

Woods also said that the aftermath of the scandal was “dark,” adding that she didn’t know how to feel after she realized the life she knew—presumably the one she shared with BFF Kylie Jenner—was gone.https://www.instagram.com/p/BrtIu4MHdlQ/embed

“I remember just sitting in a very dark place. I had my family to talk to, I had you to talk to, but I just felt like I had no one,” she explained. “You take everything you think you know for a whole decade, the people you think you know, the life you think you know, everything that you’ve grown up doing, and you take it all away from someone. I didn’t even know how to feel.

The same day this interview went live, Jordyn Woods made things official with her new boyfriend, basketball player Karl-Anthony Towns. “I found you, then I found me,” she wrote in the caption of three vacation pics with her new man.

It seems she’s ready to put the past behind her and look forward.
