Kenya Moore Apologizes For Behavior Toward Kim Fields; Also, NeNe Leakes Responds To Being Called A Backstabber

When Andy Cohen asked Kenya about her interaction with Kim, she admitted, “First of all, I watched that back and I was mortified. I think it was a big mistake for me to pull her chair. It was uncalled for. It was absolutely unacceptable and I do apologize for that behavior. I was in the moment. I was just fed up with the B.S. It’s something that happened but I’m really actually very ashamed of that.”

NeNe lashed out on Instagram when Kenya called her a backstabber on Real Housewives of Atlanta: “SAY WHAT! YOU CALLING ME A BACKSTABBER?? I don’t address issues usually but this backstabber comment coming from Miss Twirl herself @thekenyamoore must be address NOW! I challenge you to ask anyone I have ever been friends with and those I am currently friends with and that includes you asking @kimzolciakbiermann @shereewhitfield @CynthiaBailey10 etc the one thing they will all say about me is that I am a fun girl and I have a heart! In order to back stab a person you have to intentionally set out to do harm to someone and that ain’t me! When and if we fall out, I will read you, fall out, and move on! You don’t have to worry about me because I’m not worrying about you. With that said, I have been back stabbed by those I loved, cared for, and supported! I’m not in the business of harming people and I am not evil. NOW TWIRL ON THAT!”

“I was surprised she talked about Sheree and Kim,” said Kenya. “What about Marlo Hampton and what about her bridesmaids? I think friendships when you have them and they are real, you don’t spill each other’s secrets and you don’t come after their livelihood – all things that NeNe did. Whether or not she was acting out of emotion at the time and she felt that she was betrayed, then so be it, but don’t say you didn’t betray it. I do believe. I stand firm in that belief.”

How does Karen feel about Katie‘s boyfriend Andrew calling her a trainwreck? “Really? I’ve never had a conversation with this man. I think he should stay in his lane. We’re women – what are you doing? Unless you put on a dress, don’t come for me. Stay in your lane.”

A caller suggested that the Real Housewives of Potomac are NOT a good representation of Potomac, to which Karen said, “We don’t profess or claim to represent the entire community of Potomac. We’re six dynamic women with six dynamic personalities and six dynamic lives and that is who we’re representing, so I do agree with her.”

When asked if she knew before Jamaica that Cynthia had hired Kim, Kenya said, “Absolutely not. It was a complete surprise. I really felt betrayed because I really did work hard on her commercial and her ideas. I actually had two for her and I thought they were absolutely amazing and she never ever heard me out.”

Why does Kenya start stuff with everyone, then cry victim? “I don’t play victim. I own everything that I do, and I think that if you watch the show, you know that. Everyone has conflict with everyone on the show – to say that, is someone who obviously isn’t knowledgeable about the dynamic on our show.”
