Foxx’s office released nearly 200 pages of texts screenshots and 3,600 pages of emails this week that revealed conversations between public officials. In one of those texts, Kim Foxx called Smollett a “washed up celebrity” and said that she “rescued” herself from his case. She also called R. Kelly a pedophile and compared his case to Smollett. She said: ‘Pedophile with 4 victims 10 counts. ‘Washed up celeb who lied to cops, 16.’
