Largest Black Sapphire Necklace Named After Angelina Jolie: ‘Star of Jolie’ Costs $5 Million

This time, Robert Procop will once again make the “Maleficent” star shine with his newly created pendant necklace, and as PEOPLE reports, it has the world’s largest black star sapphire. Records of the Gemological Institute of America shows that this 888.88-karat sapphire is indeed certified, the same with its 70 black star sapphire adding 104.42 karats more to its quality. And because of Procop like Angelina Jolie so much, that he named it after his partner in the business, no other than Angeline Jolie, calling it the “Star of Jolie.”

In a report from Forbes this 888.88-carat sapphire necklace will join among the collection of jewelry in the Style of Jolie and will appear at Saks Fifth Avenue at South Coast Plaza until the end of October. The pendant necklace is not only with black star sapphire but it is also set in 18k rose gold. For those who just want to know how much the Star of Jolie costs, it is $5 million for its 888.88-carat quality. The collection of jewelry of Jolie and Procop called Style of Jolie is ready for purchase and proceeds will be donated to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.

Angelina Jolie who is a known humanitarian has been helping a lot of kids go to school by promoting education and establishing schools in conflict-affected countries like in Afghanistan outside Kabul where the first schools of Education Partnership for Children of Conflict have opened in April 2013. Even the Exceptional Jewels collection of Robert Procop will be donating a portion of its sales to charity.
