LeBron is the Star Player, Coach, and General Manager for the Cleveland Cavs

Along with being call a hero and savior, he also been referred to as the General Manger for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not only was all-star forward Kevin Love enticed to come to Cleveland because of LeBron; so too was reserves Mike Miller and James Jones. It has been a loud secret that LeBron has been the one orchestrating the moves to get the right people in place for the Cavs first shot at the title.

Now after Game 4 in the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the Bulls, you can put coach under James job title for the Cavs. The star player said he basically told his coach David Blatt what the last play of the game was going to be. “To be honest, the play that was drawn up, I scratched it,” James said. “I just told coach, ‘Give me the ball. We’re either going to go to overtime or I’m going to win it for us.’ It was that simple.”

I bet his coach wanted to show his authority in this situation. It had to be ego deflating to succumb to one of your players, in front of all your players. But I bet David Blatt thought about his family and job security and told LeBron afterwards; yeah that’s the play. It was one those instances where your better judgment could be summed up in that Rae Sremmunrd song.

“No Flex Zone! No Flex Zone! He Knooow Better! He Knooow Better!”
