LeBron James used his press conference to spread a powerful message to the world about being Black in America. “No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough.” he said in response to his house being vandalized the day before. He talked about Emmett Till having an open casket to exemplify the hate in this country. His incident is a glaring example of the lack of progress towards Blacks having any equality in this country.
