A lot of controversy has been surrounding Lavar Ball, the father of NBA prospect Lonzo Ball. His outlandish comments, interviews and his own shoe company have all made negative and positive headlines. Instead of ducking the obvious, Lonzo Ball spoke about his dad honestly and sarcastically in a new Footlocker commercial. While other NBA prospects talked about normal father-son activity in the commercial; Lonzo talked about his dad “went on First Take and shouted back and forth with Stephen A. Smith about how you’re already better than the reigning league MVP.” The commercial is one of many from Footlocker in which take a athletes uncomfortable moments and make it funny.
