Mexico’s Most Powerful Earthquake in Eight Decades Kills at Least 60 People

An earthquake of 8.1 magnitude killed at least 60 people on Thursday in Mexico city. The fatalities were in the three cities of  Oaxaca, Chiapas and in Tabasco according to federal and state officials. Agriculture minister Jose Calzada said there were also 250 people injured in Oaxaca. The earthquake also destroyed buildings, homes and evacuated thousands of people from their residence.
