Muslims In Miami Team Up For Hip Hop In Relief Efforts

Muhammad Mosque No. 29 in Miami is headquarters for the 7th Region which also includes the Caribbean Islands.

Recently, the mosque partnered with longtime activist and artist Yonasda Lonewolf for #HipHop4thePeople at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex for a day of music, food and entertainment for a righteous and worthy cause of collecting much needed items such as clothing, canned goods and other supplies to distribute to those in hurricane ravaged areas in Florida, the Caribbean as well as for Houston, which is still recovering from Hurricane Harvey.  The Sept. 30 event also included other organizations and partners including, Valencia Gunder of Make The Homeless Smile; Unite Or Die Campaign; United Caribbean Strong; Nation of Gods & Earths and many more!  The recovery process is lengthy and the need is great.
