The singer’s wedding ring from rapper T.I. was among the items stolen, along with watches and earrings.
The theft occurred while Harris was having drinks with a friend.
Police said there were no signs of damage or anyone breaking into the car that held a blue velour bag with the jewels, according to 11 Alive in Atlanta. There were also no surveillance cameras in the area.
Harris has not commented on the theft, but didn’t let the incident dampen her spirits. She and hubby T.I. attended the grand opening of Tyler Perry Studios last Saturday, when they snapped pics with Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King.
“What better strong, successful Black woman/women could I have met!!,” she wrote in part on Instagram.
Police are still investigating the theft.
