When Move Studio noticed that students who have not learned their multiplication times tables believe they have reached an educational plateau that cannot be surpassed, they decided to do something about it.
“For a while I have been frustrated that math students were entering my class on day one unprepared. Unfortunately, this deficiency is a direct result of their lack of knowledge regarding multiplication time’s tables. The Lil D character was created initially for my students and it was such a hit with them and throughout the school, I knew we had to make it available for more parents and teachers”
After visits to schools in other districts and observing the inadequate test scores in Mathematics, it was realized that this is not a problem specific to certain districts. It is an educational problem that stretches a wide range of socio-economic and racial boundaries.
