This weekend the NFL’s divisional playoffs will be played amongst eight teams trying to make it to the Super Bowl in February. Although the remainder of the playoffs should be just as exciting; this weekend should provide the best games of the season. My job today is to pick the teams that will make it out of the battlefield and survive to live another week. The road to New Orleans continues…

I personally want to see Ray Lewis win one more ring before he retires. The future Hall of Fame linebacker recently announced his retirement from football after this post season. It’s hard not to like the guy, he plays with so much passion, energy; and gives his all on the playing field. But I don’t think he will overcome the strength and wisdom of Peyton Manning. The quarterback has posted a 13-3 record with the Denver Broncos;after spending his whole career with the Indianapolis Colts, he has transformed the Broncos into a contender. The Broncos have a top ten defense and a strong running game and will win this playoff game against the Ravens. I love watching Lewis pre game dance but he doesn’t have enough moves to avoid the beat down from Manning and his soldiers: Broncos 32 Ravens 24

I watched the Green Bay Packers play against the Chicago Bears during the regular season and I thought one thing: The packers are going to the super bowl. I’m sticking with that prediction; Aaron Rodgers looks like he can throw a touchdown whenever he drops back to throw the ball. Charles Woodson the hall of fame corner back is back and the Packers are rolling through their competition. I don’t think it will be a easy game against San Fran, no it will not be easy at all. But when it comes down to the fourth quarter, the separation between the two quarterbacks will become evident: Packers 28 49ERS 21
