Nothing Can Part You From Facebook: Not Even Death!

Here is something that should brighten your day. Facebook will allow you to select an heir to your Facebook account. That’s right, you no longer have to worry about whom will post pictures of your kids or talk about how you need to lose weight after you die. Just select someone who doesn’t think it’s creepy to look at a dead person photo every day and there you have it. A never-ending Facebook Page.

In all fairness, I do understand this opportunity would be somewhat beneficial for families of artists or people representing a certain cause. An existing FB Page would a possible to commission, donate, or sell unreleased work of the artist. And in some regard, I do understand keeping the page up for a brief time to serve as a memorial. But I think creating an heir to your account is stupid; deactivate the darn thing and keep it moving. What do you think about Facebook allowing someone else to manage your account?
