Last week sad news came out of Oregon after a Black teenager was shot in killed in a hotel parking lot. 19-year-old Aidan Ellison was murdered after having verbal dispute with 47-year-old Robert Keegan. The confrontation started after Keegan approached Ellison about the volume of his music at a hotel parking lot. The two exchanged words and then Keegan pulled out a gun and killed him.
According to the police, Keegan has been charged with second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter. FOX 26 reported that Keegan has pleaded not guilty. To read more about this story click here.
