Ownership is Rare Air for Blacks in Sports

Terrell Owens former all pro wide receiver, who got injured and was deemed too old and too invaluable for any NFL team to hire, was last seen crying on various television shows, including his own reality TV show. Former NBA all-stars Allen Iverson and Antoine Walker could last be seen in Turkey and Puerto Rico respectively. Both players are now playing for foreign basketball leagues in hopes of returning to the NBA and recapturing some of that past glory and money.
What about former basketball all-star Stephon Marbury? He has found recent success playing ball in China, but he could be seen before that making youtube videos of himself eating Vaseline. Even more tragic are the onslaught of lawsuits toward the NFL by former players, who major claim is that the concussions suffered during their time playing in the NFL has caused lifelong damage to their health and well-being. As a result of the concussions, these players claim destitute living, physical and mental illness, including depression which ultimately has contributed to a few of the player’s demise.
