The economic plan of Elijah Muhammad was something that was in full fledge during the 1960’S and 70’s. The Nation of Islam were the owners of several businesses, including a farm where they grew they own food. While he was a member of Nation of Islam, Malcolm X advocated these issues during his speeches. Not only did he talk about economic separation, but also political and social separation for Black people. Before his death, Malcolm modified his stance into a Pan-Africa point of view. He stressed the need for all Black people to unite worldwide. A lot of people associate Malcolm X with the picture of him standing at his window with a shotgun.
