Dr. Beth Mynett has alleged that her husband Tim Mynett wrote a “shocking declaration of love” for Omar before she filed for divorce. To make matters worse, it is reported that llhan has been giving Tim money from her campaign donations. Between April 22 and June 11, 14 payments of more than $70,000 were transferred to Mynett’s E. Street Group LLC according to tax records.
According to the NY Post, a total of $230,000 in campaign money has been sent to Mynett’s E. Street Group consulting firm. “This arrangement where Ilhan is paying her lover consulting fees could be illegal if he’s not doing the work,” National Legal and Policy Center Chairman Peter Flaherty said. According to sandrarose.com, a conservative watchdog group is planning to file a complaint against Omar for alleged payments. No word has came from llhan Omar or her team.
