Kelly has been trending on the internet all day in regards to accusations that he has a “cult” of women in his Atlanta and Chicago residences. Parents of three women have come forward and accused Kelly of holding their daughters in an “abusive cult”. Their accusations include that Kelly is physically and verbally abusive toward their daughters. R. Kelly has released a statement through his lawyer Linda Mensch denying the accusations. “Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.” the statement reads. It also states that Kelly is “alarmed and disturbed” about the allegations. The 50 year old singer was acquitted of 14 charges of child pornography in 2008. To read more about this story read here.
