The Hip Hop community is still saddened by the recent death of rapper XXXTENTACION. Artists are still speaking out and hopes his untimely passing brings more awareness to gun violence. One of those people who wants to do more than just talk is Lil Uzi Vert. The Philly star wants to start a foundation in honor of X and help support his family. “I want to start a fund/foundation to make sure his child and family are well taken care of not just temporary but for life.” he said. Lil Uzi also encouraged his fellow artists to join in: “I don’t care if you didn’t know him he is part of the hip hop / rock community I NEED HELP from celebrities Please,” he stated. X was gunned down last week and will have his home-going today Wednesday (June 27) at at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla.
