Researchers at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security simulated a virus to show government officials how vulnerable they are to disease epidemic that could occur. The virus simulated was called Clade X and was showed it could be initiated through normal respiratory viruses that cause minor illnesses like the cold. The experiment as realistic and showed that the illness could be spread to affect over 10% of the world and kill over 900 million people. To read more about this story click here.
