The Coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult for a lot of movies to come out because… the movie theaters were close. Instead of traditionally being seen on the big screen, films have resorted to premiering on streaming channels.
One movie that seems to not be going that route is the new version of Candyman. The release date for the rebooted version of the 1992 horror film has been pushed back several times, but is still expected to come out in theaters. “We made ‘Candyman’ to be seen in theaters,” said Nia DaCosta, the director of the film.
The movie was schedule to come out a few times in 2020, but now has been set for August of 2021.
