Should breakfast be skipped or nah!

Whether you eat breakfast or not really comes down to if you are a morning person or a night owl.  My client Rebecca Cole mentioned to me during one of our training sessions how she felt so much better because she went to bed early the night before.  I said “Oh what time did you get to sleep,” She said, “1 am.” She is obviously a night person if 1am is her version of going to bed early.  Rebecca does not need to attempt to wake up any earlier to eat breakfast.

My client’s Real Estate agent Nancy Tassone can’t take a call after 830pm because she is usually in bed already.  Nancy is a person who should eat breakfast every morning.  Rebecca should work out on an empty stomach while Nancy should consume one of the breakfast foods an hour before her workout from our CF4L list.

For anyone who does wake up early and has extra time for breakfast here is our CF4L Top 7 breakfast choices:

  1.  Oatmeal

You may have noticed a heart-shaped seal on your box of oatmeal recently. The seal’s there because oats contain beta-glucan, a type of fiber that’s been shown to help lower cholesterol when eaten regularly

2.                  Greek yogurt

This tangy, creamy yogurt is loaded with calcium and boasts plenty of protein—nearly twice as much as regular yogurt—to keep you feeling full throughout the morning.
