Authorities in Crystal Lake Illinois found the body of a 5-year-old boy who was reported missing last week. The parents of Andrew “AJ” Freund have been charged with his murder after initially calling 911 and saying that boy walked out their house. Last Wednesday, AJ’s dad told the 911 dispatcher that “I had a doctor appointment this morning and when I got back from the doctor’s appointment and I checked in on him to say good morning and he wasn’t there.” That phone call brought out 15 police agencies, drones, and rescue canine units.
