The beginning of the NFL season is kicking off the same way it ended last year. The demonstration of NFL players protesting social injustices during the National Anthem took place in some of last night’s (08.09.18) preseason games. Miami Dolphins receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson knelt before their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Malcolm Jenkins and De’Vante Bausby of the Philadelphia Eagles raised their fists during the playing of the anthem. While Jalen Ramsey, Telvin Smith, Leonard Fournette and T.J. Yeldon of the Jacksonville Jaguars did not come out the tunnel during the playing of the anthem. The NFL decided to not go with its new policy regarding players who protest the anthem. The league has since announced that it will work with the NFL Players Association to come up with a new policy. To read more about this story click here
