I’m going to share with you something few record labels or publishing companies are going to tell you – it is literally about the end of the world as they know it. Even all the changes in the way people access and buy music are not going to affect the music industry as much as a little-known provision of the Copyright Law of 1976 is going to affect the industry next year. I’m talking about the literal transfer of billions of dollars in wealth back from the music industry powers back to music creators – songwriters, composers, arrangers, and lyricists.
