October is the month for Cancer awareness. Around the country people have been giving their stories, time and support to highlight the dangers of the deadly disease. In Chicago, one of the biggest events took place on the South Side at the huge Salvation Army Kroc Center. The 2nd annual Sista Strut had hundreds of attendees coming together and taking a walk against Cancer. Families, friends and supporters of victims and survivors joined together to do their “strut.”
