Jeremih’s occasional spats remind me of R. Kelly back in the day. Back in 2004, R. Kelly had to prematurely the plug on The Best of Both Worlds tour with Jay-Z. It was said that Kells was difficult to work with and wouldn’t perform certain shows.
Not only that, Birdman recorded an album with R.Kelly in 2010 call Best of Both Worlds 2. Unfortunately the album was shelved because of issues that Birdman had with R. Kelly.
Then there is Kanye West. Although Ye only notable fallout with an artist was with Jay-Z, his name alone is synonymous with arrogant and misunderstood. There are other artists from the Chi with this label, like Chief Keef and Vic Mensa. Which brings me to my original thought of seemingly more than more than other artists, Chicago’s own can be difficult.
