With LeBron out of the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics have now become the favorite to win that conference. Couple that with my previous statement above of the Los Angeles Lakers getting Kahwi and there you have it! The Lakers and Celtics are back in business.
Then it happened. The Golden State Warriors signed DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins to a one year deal to play with them next season. The only thing I could think of to explain that move was a braggadocious line from Dr. Dre’s “Still Dre; where he said Niggas try to be the king, but the ace is back. Of course there is some word play in there but I’m sure you can figure it out. And even though Cousins is not expected to come back from his injury until December or January, it still means trouble for the rest of the NBA. The bottom line is this one move to add “Boogie” Cousins just shut shit down for any other team thinking about making a move against the defending champions.
