That exchange seems like normal behavior between rappers. Especially from Drake, who has been known to get it in when it comes to exchanging barbs on records. However that backdrop transpired into some more B.S, when Rhymefest went on Twitter and said some slick comments that included Drake and went against Kanye West. For those unfamiliar with Rhymefest, he is a Chicago rapper, who has collaborated with Kanye on various songs including Ye’s his massive single Jesus Walks. He is also an aspiring politician who ran for a Chicago alderman position in 2010. Most recently, he has took over the position of being the head of Donda’s House, a Chicago based charity started by Kanye and his mother.
On the heels of Drake releasing his Duppy song, Rhymefest tweeted that Kanye has
“abandoned” part of Chicago and requests that Drake come help.

He then tweeted out another solicitation towards Drake while denouncing Kanye.
@Drake when G.O.O.D. Music sends the money they owe you, will you please help us rebuild Kanye’s mothers house for the youth of Chicago. I spoke to Kanye about it. His response was “fuck the youth of Chicago”
