The Problems I Have With Stripper Kijuana Nige Exposing Video of Miami Dolphins Assistant Coach Snorting Coke

More than anything, it shows the pitiful condition that Forester is in. Nothing has yet to happen that has changed the status quo in that organization or in the NFL. The Dolphins released a statement saying that they were aware of the video and soon after Forester resigned. I’m willing to bet that someone inside that organization already knew that Forester had a problem. Usually there are signs that indicate that someone has a substance abuse problem. And not to be funny, it wouldn’t be surprising if more coaches, management and owners have participated in a few lines with Forester on a few occasions.

In regards to the double standards that exists between Black players and White coaches and owners; well it is still there. As matter of fact, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made comments that stated that players on his team who sat during the National Anthem, could not play in the game. So the institutional racism and slave owner mentality still also exists in that environment.

As far as Kijuana Nige intentions, I’m not going to speculate what her intentions were or question her integrity. It is quite possible that she posted the video in order to help shed light on the hypocrisy in the NFL and force Forester to put a mirror in front of his face. It has been reported that he checked himself into a rehab in an attempt to get better. So maybe it was a little helpful. The bigger issue for me though is privacy, trust and loyalty. We have no of that in today’s society. In addition to that, it seems a little hypocritical to be involved with a married man and then try to expose the injustices within a system. The protocol of being a mistress or ‘side-chick’ has blown up in a lot of people faces. Celebrities, athletes and prominent folks have seen the skeletons in their closet being brought out front and center.

The truth is, my problem is not so much with this situation, but what it represents. My problem is not so much with the individuals, but with society itself. And the truth is, it doesn’t seem like it is going to change anytime soon. Most people don’t have a problem with everything being recorded and other snooping in other folks personal business. With that being said, if I can’t change the situation, maybe I shouldn’t have a problem with it either.
