The Weeknd and G-Eazy No Longer Will Work with H&M After Seeing Offensive Ad

Backlash has continued for H&M after releasing an offensive ad of a little Black boy wearing a hoodie that said “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle.” Artists the Weeknd and G-Eazy have decided to cut ties with the brand after seeing the ad campaign.  The Weeknd said he was “shocked and embarrassed”  on Twitter and added he “will not be working with H&M anymore.” Similarly, G-Eazy responded by releasing a statement saying that he will end his partnership with the brand.
