Saturday Night Live has been on the air for more than 40 seasons and it has never had a Black female comedian to host its show. Let me repeat never. This opened my eyes to the sexism that exists in the entertainment industry against women. The recent onslaught of sexual harassment/assault claims against various men in Hollywood shows that women still have to fight to show their talents and not their breasts. When you see that a lot of White women come forward and speak out against sexism, then you know it is extra hard for Black women. So the fact that Tiffany Haddish was the first to break the barrier for Black female comedians on SNL, needs to be saluted. She actually touched on the topic and shitted on Louis C.K in the process. Shout out to her and the other sisters who are doing their thang in the entertainment industry and in everyday life. Watch Tiffany monologue below.
