My tardiness has influenced the way I made my selections this year. I always make an emphasis on how choose the players based on their performance from the previous season. However, this year it was kind of hard for me not to take into consideration what the players have done so far this season. For instance, Kyrie Irving almost missed the entire 2017-2018 season. Yet I still had to take into account what he has done this season with the Boston Celtics. Not to mention, you can’t ignore he is still one the best at his position. The same can be said about Kawhi Leonard.
Those two players along with the addition of Jimmy Butler to the Philadelphia 76ers has changed the dynamic of the Eastern Conference. Let’s not forget the biggest addition by subtraction. That’s the move of LeBron James to the Lakers from the Cleveland Cavaliers. The whole thing has changed the usual match-up of LeBron and company against the Golden State Warriors. I still got GSW in the Finals, but this year against the Boston Celtics. The change in opponent should be good for NBA fans. Yet and still, I have the Warriors pulling it out for another NBA title.
