Trip from the Town to the City Becomes Safer: California Agrees to Make Bay Bridge Safe against Earthquakes

Authorities who were in charge of the overhaul of the Oakland-San Francisco bridge has agreed to pour in an additional 150 million dollars into to protecting the infrastructure against earthquakes. According to the San Francisco Chronicle via Digital Journal, the commission’s executive director Steve Heminger who oversaw construction and approved on the additional funds says it is “money well spent.” To read more about this story click here.
