There was a lot criticism towards comedian Michelle Wolf after she headlined the White House Correspondents Dinner. Many felt her material was too vulgar and voiced their opinion about the level of disrespect in her commentary. Former Trump Chief of Staff Reince Priebus called her routine an” R/X rated spectacle.” While former White House Communications Director Sean Spicer went on Twitter to questioned why leadership at the White House was silent “since they paid her to speak.” Wolf did get some support from fellow comedian Kathy Griffin who also came under fire for comments against Trump. “If you want to focus on the journalism do a boring awards show. Journalism is all about the 1st amendment..If you don’t see the import of what @michelleisawolf did tonight then you don’t get it,” she wrote on Twitter. Trump who skipped the event for the second year in a row, weighed in by saying: “Everyone is talking about the fact that the White House Correspondents Dinner was a very big, boring bust…the so-called comedian really “bombed.” @greggutfeld should host next year! @PeteHegseth” To read more about this story click here.
