I don’t follow President Trump on Twitter, but he does have 65 million other people who do. I’m not sure if California Senator Kamala Harris is one of those people, but she feels Trump doesn’t need a Twitter account. Harris has made multiple requests to suspend Trump’s Twitter account. She even wrote a direct letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey asking them to take action. On Tuesday’s night Democratic debate she stated that shutting down Trump’s account is  ”a matter of safety and corporate accountability.”

Despite her pleas, Twitter has stated that it will only remove the president’s tweets if “he explicitly violates its rules.” The social media company continued by saying, “we focus on the language of reported Tweets and do not attempt to determine all potential interpretations of the content or its intent.” To read more about this story click here.
