UK group Kloak n Marshall still Keeping Hip Hop

The Gathering P.A.C.E. project must have been a colossal undertaking. How did you orchestrate it?

We were blessed to meet committed and supportive people. We’re still hoping to return the favor. Everyone involved felt inspired by the vision and the storyline. Each video was planned with accuracy so we lost very little time. We shot FOUR videos in ONE weekend. The inspiration was never far specially with the sick beatstrumentals that Marshall Law has been crafting.

 

Tell us about the London scene.kloak marshall 2

The London scene is going through some metamorphosis at the moment. There’s a growing number of live music venues as folks yearn for some variety and a break from the norm. Hip-hop is also getting some attention. There are even venues catering for karaoke hip-hop! Things are starting to look interesting, that’s for sure.
What’s your favorite non-rap album of all time and why?

To name one would be an injustice to the others. But to give an idea, most things from Fela, Bobby Womack , Sade, Paul Simon and old Motown are on the list.
