Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to address the high rate of violence in Chicago. Johnson stated that he will deployed 430 additional officers this week. He also added that number will increase to 600 people by this weekend. The announcement was made after 74 people were shot and 12 people were killed from 6 p.m. last Friday to 6 a.m. Monday. City officials have been scrambling for answers to help decrease the violence, the question is will the additional police officers help? To read more about this story click here.
