Vanessa Bryant and Kyla Pratt respond to Evan Rachel Wood calling Kobe Bryant a Rapist

One of those people has been actress Evan Rachel Wood. The 33-year-old star of the HBO series Westworld made a tweet about Kobe shortly after his death. ‘What has happened is tragic. I am heartbroken for Kobe’s family. He was a sports hero. He was also a rapist. And all of these truths can exist simultaneously.’

Well, Kobe’s widow recently caught wind of the tweet and decided to respond directly to Wood. ‘Your false, insensitive, defamatory and slanderous tweet on 1/26/20 is vile and disturbing to say the least,’ Vanessa posted. ‘Behavior like this is part of the reason why innocent black men go to jail for crimes they didn’t commit. An accusation doesn’t make someone guilty,’ she continued.

Then she added: ‘YOU DON’T KNOW THE FACTS OF THE CASE.’

Vanessa wasn’t the only one disappointed by the tweet from Wood. Actress Kyla Pratt also chimed in and gave her opinion on the matter. ‘Evan. We met as kids & I grew up in the same industry as you and have admired your work from afar these past few years. On camera and off. But this tweet? How f**king dare you?’ Pratt stated.

Earlier this month, Wood came forward and claimed that she was abused by her ex-boyfriend Marilyn Manson. In addition to the sexual abuse claims, Woods has stated that Manson hurled anti-Semitic abuse at her. Manson has denied the allegations, but since Wood’s confession, 11 other women have come forward and accused the singer of abuse. To read more about this story click here.
