A Facebook video of Emily Weinman getting detained by New Jersey police officers has been shared over 130,000 times. In the 50 second video Weinman is shown getting punched in the head, choked, while the officers arrest her. “You’re not allowed to hit me like that” Weinman tells the officer. The incident took place on the beach and Weinman, who is from Philadelphia said she was there with her family. The police, who are from Wildwood Police Department, said they are investigating the incident. Watch the video below.
