The latest story surrounding the show’s panel comes via New York Post gossip column Page Six:
Add Ann Curry to the names being bandied about to fill the empty chairs on “The View.”
Sources say the former “Today” host is being considered as a possible co-host on the ABC show, even though she still has time on her NBC contract.
Other candidates include Mario Cantone, Bernadette Peters, Leah Remini, S.E. Cupp and Meghan McCain, who will be a guest Monday.
NBC and ABC reps didn’t comment. Rosie O’Donnell has officially returned, joining Whoopi Goldberg.
