Security Adviser Tom Bossert said 7,000 troops and 10,000 people in total will be sent to help Puerto Rico recover from Hurricane Maria. The U.S. Navy ship Comfort, which is a 1,000 bed hospital ship will be deployed from Virginia. Bossert tried to defend the procrastination surrounding the efforts to assist Puerto Rico. “The constraints and limitations are different from a contiguous state here in the United States.
