A White Woman who is identified as Amy Cooper was fired from her job after she falsely called the police on a Black Man. The incident took place in New York City’s Central Park. Christian Cooper, a bird watcher asked Amy Cooper to put a leash on her dog.
“Ma’am, dogs in the Ramble have to be on the leash at all times. The sign is right there,” said Mr. Cooper
Amy did not comply and when Christian started to record on his phone, she said that she would call the police. “There’s an African-American man threatening my life,” she told the police.
The video that Christian recorded was put on the Internet and went viral.
Oh, when Karens take a walk with their dogs off leash in the famous Bramble in NY’s Central Park, where it is clearly posted on signs that dogs MUST be leashed at all times, and someone like my brother (an avid birder) politely asks her to put her dog on the leash. pic.twitter.com/3YnzuATsDm
