Hopefully more education will come out of this sudden outbreak. Hopefully we can put behind the notion that evil and diseases come from the African people. And don’t think that ignorance doesn’t exist; I saw a girl who was joking but seriously state on social media that she “didn’t want to go to the Africans to get her hair braided because of Ebola”
I wonder does she generalize that same ignorance toward a doctor or nurse who have seem the most susceptible to catching the virus. Odds are, if she is sick enough she won’t be thinking about Ebola and the same thing will go if she wants to get some fly braids. She knows no one does them braids better than them Africans sisters. So people let’s stop frontin on each other, remove the fear and live life to the fullest.
