Recently news surfaced that music executive L.A Reid was leaving his position at Epic Records. His move came shortly after former Columbia Records executive Rob Stringer took the job as CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, the company which owns Epic. The question is now that Reid is gone; will the new regime support the artist he signed? L.A Reid was one of the few executives in the music industry and some artists admit the only reason that they signed. Although producer Timbaland is no longer with Epic, his artists Tink admitted the only reason he signed was that Reid was Black. That is the same reason 21 Savage said he signed to the label. Epic is the home Rick Ross, Future and DJ Khaled.
