California Senator Kamala Harris made an official announcement that she is running for president of the United States in 2020. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I didn’t know who Harris was before her presidential announcement in Oakland California. I did find out that she is a native of Oakland (shout out to the town) and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha (salute to my green and pink sisters) Sorority.
