Will Kamala Harris Back Up Her Talk for the People if She is Elected?

Harris has served as the District of Attorney for Alameda County California and for the city and county of San Francisco. In 2010, she moved up to Attorney General of California, and served two terms before moving to the U.S Senate in 2016. Her platform is something that sounds good. She wants Medicare for all the people, lower taxes and approves recreational marijuana use. Her slogan is quite simply “Kamala Harris, for the People.”

On the surface, all that sounds fine and dandy, but will she back up that talk if she is elected. The mode of operation for politicians is to make promises that typically don’t keep. It’s not enough to just have a person of color in the White House. Black folks need someone who genuinely want to assist in improving the conditions in their community. Yes it would be cool to see a Black woman in office, but if she is there for show; then it makes no sense. The question is do you think will benefit the people if she is elected?
