Recently Jay Z funded a film showcasing the horrific ordeal of Kalief Browder. The documentary titled Time: The Kalief Browder Story  is a six-part series that aired earlier this month and showed how Browder was locked up for three years for a crime he didn’t commit. After serving two of those three years in solidarity confinement and finally being released; Browder killed himself in 2015.
